I'm a product designer working with startups. I work with users and engineers to build products that feel good because they work well, look professional, and were made by someone who actually cared. Not just an AI output. The work of a human who cares deeply about how it works and how it feels.
I currently work for OVO Energy, leading product design and direction for a post-acquisition integration. Previously I was head of design at Bonnet, a London startup, acquired by OVO in 2023.
As part of my design work I've spent a lot of time thinking about how to build strong design foundations that scale. File structure, design system maintenance, AI workflows to make design and designers faster.
The way I design has changed a lot over the past few months. Less time in Figma, more time in Claude Code building prototypes using the component library. I enjoyed it so much I built a full feature myself: MiniPlayerView, a native iOS component that shows live charging statuses in the app.
Outside work I've recently started playing tennis and I love it. If you're a beginner in London looking for a sparring partner, email me. The rest of my time goes to my husband and our daughter Charlotte. There wasn't much written about some of the things we navigated as new parents, so I started writing about what worked for us. Long-haul flights with a baby, sleep training, and elimination communication.
